A Pair of New Yorkers
A rare treat for me , two Foderas at the same time.
The bass on the right is a personal bass, the bass on the left just came in on consignment.
I will A/B them , but they are very different basses in terms of woods used , scale ( 34" vs 35" ) , the
Emperor II is a 2009 with the latest Pope 3 band , the Imperial is a '99 with the previous generation Pope 3 band.
Should be interesting , none-the-less.

Gibson Les Paul Basses
These are the basses that I played almost exclusively in my youth.
These are both 1972-73 era basses , sometimes called the "Triumph" bass.
Maybe the most versatile passive bass I have ever played.
I just got some new strings, oiled the fretboards , and away we go !
